We are proud that our fine Arabica beans are both shade- grown and certified organic. The tropical regions where our coffee is grown boast a rich array of indigenous plant and animal life.

Using organic coffee that is grown beneath shade trees also helps us bring you the best tasting coffee on Earth. Grown in healthy soil, our beans are hand-tended and left on the tree until fully ripe -- a process that helps create a cup that is richer, more complex in flavor, and smoother on the tongue.

Certified organic coffees must be grown, harvested, and processed without chemical pesticides and fertilizers. Farms that grow certified organic coffees are tested for chemicals by an independent certification agency for three consecutive years.
